STRACKALINE YARDAGE BOOKLET:

FORMAT:

  • All teams will participate in a 36-hole, four-ball stroke play championship (two-person better ball). 18 holes will be played each day.
  • There will be two divisions for this championship; an open division and a senior division.
  • Awards will be given to those who finish in 1st through 5th place in each division. In the event of a tie for first place in either division, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following the conclusion of regular play.

REGISTRATION:

  • Registration will open at 6:00 a.m. All participants must check in at the SCGA table upon arrival on Friday morning.

  • We are guests and must follow all facility policies and guidelines when on property. Behavior during practice rounds will be subject to the SCGA Code of Conduct.

STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS:

  • Starting times and pairings will be e-mailed to players and posted online at scga.org one week in advance of the championship.
  • Starting times will range from 7:30 a.m. – 10:40 a.m. utilizing a tee time start on Hole #1. Groups will be re-paired for Round 2 according to Round 1 scores.
  • Lead groups should plan to be at their assigned tee 10 minutes in advance of their starting time. Subsequent groups are encouraged to arrive once the preceding group has teed off. Players arriving late will be penalized under Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf. For example, the 9:00 a.m. starting time is defined as 9:00:00, and players arriving after that time are considered late.

TEES & YARDAGE:

All yardages and course information can be found in the Yardage Information tab located on the Championship Portal.

DRIVING RANGE:

As you may have seen in-person or on their website, the driving range at Black Gold GC has very limited access due to an ongoing Solar Canopy Project issued by the City of Yorba Linda. We are happy to confirm that the driving range will be available for all participants to complete a full warm-up session on both days of the championship.

  • The driving range will be available by 6:30 a.m. on each morning of the championship.
  • Range balls will be provided and staged on the driving range, compliments of Black Gold GC and the SCGA.

FOOD SERVICE & PURCHASES:

  • Derricks Grille will be open at 6 a.m. each day for food & beverage purchases. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted for all purchases.
  • The SCGA will host a luncheon during the awards ceremony for all participants on Saturday, after Round 2. Lunch will not be served after Round 1 on Friday; players will be on their own.

RULES OF PLAY:
